Frequently Asked Questions

Why do we need a wedding videographer if we already have a photographer?

Having a wedding film to look back on allows you to relive moments that the traditional wedding pictures don’t always capture. Some of the best moments we have captured are the impromptu ones that happen between the flash. Whether it’s the spur-of-the-moment dance in the field or the hilarious best man speech, nothing brings back the raw emotion of your big day like a wedding film.

Do you incorporate audio (i.e., vows, toasts, etc.) into your wedding films?

Yes, we believe that the voices and laughter of your loved ones are what make a film especially personal. We go to great lengths to ensure you get exceptional audio to compliment your wedding film. At any given time, there are up to 3 devices capturing audio throughout the day. How much of the audio we decide to incorporate is relevant to the flow and creative dynamic of the storytelling process.

Can we meet before we book?

Yes! We love to meet clients at their favorite coffee shop or brewery for a no cost consultation. This gives us a chance to get to know you as a couple and have a better understanding of what you’re looking for in your wedding film. It also allows you to get to know us and go over any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have, so you can determine if we are the right ones to capture your special day.

How far in advance should we book?

Most of our weddings are booked 6-12 months in advance. We suggest booking as soon as you have secured a date with your venue, as we have multiple submissions for the most popular dates.

How do we secure our date?

In order to secure your date, we require a 35% non-refundable retainer along with your signed contract. Once your contract and retainer have been received, your date is locked in and our schedule will be freed of any other pending events. The remaining 65% is due 2 weeks before your wedding.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept various forms of payment including cash, check, Venmo, & Stripe.

When will we receive our wedding film?

You will receive your wedding film within 12-16 weeks, depending on whether or not your date falls in peak wedding season. Your film will be delivered on a personalized USB flash drive and you will receive a personal web link to share the videos with family and friends.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes we are! Many venues require vendors to carry insurance for liability purposes, so this is a necessity for us.

Do you shoot other events besides weddings?

Of course! Have a corporate or private event you would like filmed? Shoot us a message, we would love to hear what you have in mind.
